Free, nationwide support for people affected by crime and traumatic events.
We are here for you, 24/7.
Change the script on victim blaming.
If someone you care about was a victim of crime,
what would you say to them? Many victims are blamed for what happened to them - often by people they know.
What we say when someone opens up
can make a real difference.

Your Messages of Support
Those terrible things never should have happened to you. As a trauma survivor myself I know how hard it can be to be kind to ourselves, I also know how hard it can be to reach out for and accept support, but honestly it is the best thing. There are good people who want to and can help you. This in turn gives you strength to help others in the future, it’s not easy but it’s worth it.
You couldn't have predicted it. You are not responsible for how another human chooses to act.
You are walking in a world where you pass other victims and wouldnt even know it. Many of us hiding our wounds our scars our shame I personally will always feel pride and admiration for anyone who has suffered at the hands or words of someone else and come out the other end dazed and confused and still have the strength to find a way to function everyday my one wish would be to find a simple way to fix the pain that lingers for so long
Victims get forgotten and it becomes all about the perpetrator it has to change and smartly.
You didn't ask to be here. You didn't ask to carry someone else's choices in your body. And you probably didn't want to have to speak up.But you did.And I am so proud of you.You will recover. And your voice makes it safer for everyone who comes behind us.
You are not alone. It is not, was not, and will NEVER be your fault. You have come this far, and I am SO proud of you for that. Lets stand together and call out the perpetrators. I love you.
